I have a potential reviewer for my book, whom I have supplied a promo code, however, she can't see the book in the iTunes Store in her region and is now asking if I can gift it to her instead. The book is on sale in 51 store - all regions.
Is this because there is no iBooks Store presence in SA? Aside from sending her a direct export from iBooks Author (not ideal - I'd like the review in the iBooks Store), is there any way to legitimately deliver her the book?

Thanks Tom - I had a look through the list myself to double-check. There's a 'free' books presence, but not a 'paid' books presence. I would have thought there would still be a way to gift or allow a potential reviewer access with a promo code. Unfortunately not.

Why not allow access by Dropbox or similar "cloud" distibution. It does require you and the reviewer to have Dropbox installed.
Or.. a download from a website link if you have accress to a website/server.
Alternative is for the reviewer to change stores, download the book and reset the store location as it was...
Switching stores is what we ended up doing. I'd considered sending it to them outside of the iBooks ecosystem, but then they wouldn't have been able to leave a review, and a copy of the book would be out there "in the wild" as it were.
