"Get Info" song/file info window shortcut key is not working

Recently, the Apple+I "Get Info" keyboard shortcut has stopped working in iTunes (latest version). Stopped working meaning the window does not pop up when I press the key combination. I have one monitor only so it cannot be popping up off screen, and if I choose either of the File or context menu commands it pops up fine.

Is it possible something else is grabbing the key combo whilst iTunes is open? If so, how would I go about tracking it down?

Any help appreciated.

Does it work when you ⌘-I on an ordinary folder?

Yes, outside of iTunes it works fine.

Wow, that's a strange one! Have you installed anything like Synergy, where you can change keyboard combos in iTunes?

The only thing I noticed was: I opened Activity Monitor & arranged the windows so I could see the %CPU when using ⌘-I. It jumped from about 1.5% to 13.7% when I hit the key combo. At least that tells you whether the key combo is sensed. Other than that, I'm stumped!

I'll try the activity monitor trick, and if not I'll try uninstalling some scripts and plugins. I don't use Synergy though.

Also, an app called KeyCue may be useful for seeing key shortcuts and which app receives them? http://www.macility.com/products/keycue/

I've figured it out.

Somehow, the keys that switch between input menu items had been activated, one of which was Apple+I. I've deactivated them and all is well again.
