Q: passcode not set using fingerprint

My xxxx passcode was not set since I went with the fingerprint

Now some apps require xxxx but dont allow fingerprint so how to set xxxx ?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1

Sorry in order to use the touch id, you needed to set a passocode first. There was no way for you to bypass setting up a passcode in order to use touch id, it wouldn't work.

You had to create a passcode in order to use fingerprints (Touch ID). You also have to enter the passcode whenever the phone is restarted. Is this your phone??

now my phone wants a passcode, not my touch id to enter, and the passcode is not what I remember setting.
How to access phone ?
