You can change your primary email address by logging into the account e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com

After changing your primary email address you may need to log out and back in in various places : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5796
