Q: How do I update to the current Maverics from Snow Leopard

I've been checking the Maveric downloads and it seems I need previous upgrades in order to download 10.2.x.  Is it necessary to progressively download every version or is there a short cut?  Right now I have Snow Leopard.

Well everyone, I finished the download, about two hours only to find out that it will not accomodate my HP printer and image manager both of which I use A LOT expecially my printer.   So, it will sit in my files until something better comes along.

Thanks to all of you for your help, you're fantastic.     .....goldie
