Equalizer_iTunes 7.0

Same problem - equaliser not visible in powerpc version.

sometimes it will display an empty white dialog.

I am experiencing the same problem as well. I know this doesn't help any, but maybe if enough people post then it will get fixed faster.

This might not help, but I repaired permissions & noticed some iTunes permissions had changed. Maybe this will help.

same weird problem here..

weird thing is that most of my buddies dont have that problem.
I just reinstalled iTunes and no help..still the same blank window.

i think you should edit the title of this thread to have 'BUG:'- I'm stuck with whatever EQ settings I left it on.

I've updated, and I can see the Equalizer fine. Maybe you are using the OSS 3D plugin. Remove that and try again.

You could be right on that one since it does affect EQ settings.

I dont' have the oss 3d plugin installed on my computer. But it is an older powerbook g4 550 ghz. My guess is that there is a bug in the display of the equalizer that is requiring too much resolution or graphic ram. Something like that. I have iTunes installed on two powerbooks and my newer powerbook G4 displays the equalizer fine. So, I had the option of setting the equalizer on my newer powerbook and then transferring the itunes equalizer plist file to my old computer. So at least I know that I've got my favorite equalizer setting now on my older powerbook.

But, they certainly need to fix this and get us our equalizer back.

i dont have the OSS plugin installed nor do i think that many of the affected users do. We ll see what happens on the side of Apple.

Well the equalizer certainly shows in my iTunes 7 copy...

Sorry I can't help you guys, but there IS an EQ in iTunes 7 !
