Jun 13, 2014 9:19 AM in response to Knuckles2001by Niel,You need a retail Mac OS 9, 9.0.4, 9.1, or 9.2.1 CD. You can't use a different Mac's original disk.

Jun 23, 2014 6:40 PM in response to Knuckles2001by dalstott,You can use Classic environment by placing a 9.2.2 system folder on your iBook. I have links to information as well as a download that can help you do this. I have Classic on my Tangerine iBook as well as a 2004 G4 iBook for occasional need to run pre OS X applications.
