I have 2 ipads (2nd gen and air). I would like to use facetime to communicate betwen the two. Can this be done? How?

in settings, facetime (i message as well) - declare a unique 'receive at' address for each unit. A pad can have more than one receive at address. They just need to be a valid, confirmed e mail address. You can get 1 -or more - from google. When you add the address, apple will send a verification e mail to that new address, and you need to respond to that e mail - so they know it is yours.

When you want to facetime the other pad, use that address. It might make sense for you to create a new contact for each pad in your contacts app to that you can find it and use it quickly.
