Afternoon Apple Community,
I wanted to view plex on my Apple TV (version 7.0.2) using plexconnect but I can't seem to get it working. Is it possible to just buy the app Plex on my iPad and stream to my Apple TV?

If the app supports AirPlay, not all apps do. Contact the app developer to find out if it supports AirPlay.

about airplay mirror from your ipad to the tv mirror result in since your ipad is not a 16:9 widescreen device you will not fill out the tv screen if your tv is widescreen only way to handle that is adjust your tv to chup or zoom or streght the image to fill the screen
Had the same problem before but I changed to iTunes. All iTunes store purchased video can stream to both iPad and Apple TV well. I also have some local videos saved in iTunes library, some blueray movies (ripped to MP4 using BDMagic), all works well.
