Bangla inscript layout misses letter ৎ (খন্ড-ত)

Hi, Good morning. As I am more used to with inscript layout of Bengali Keyboard I prefer Bangla over Bangla - QWERTY. But I can't find the letter ৎ (খন্ড-ত) in Bangla keyboard layout. Which is supposed to be shift j. Am I missing something? Please help!

Thanks for your effor and concern, Tom. Have mailed you.

If it helps, here is the problem. The letter in the red cirlce, in Bangla - QWERTY keyboard (Phenetic) is not there in Bangla (Inscript) layout.

Though I couldn't manage to take the screenshot, of the Keyboard viewer, because as soon as I hit 'command' key, it changes, and I don't know any other way to take the screenshot than 'command-shift-3', khanda-t, is not there in shift keys too for the Bangla (inscript) layout.

Just to mention, in windows I get khanda-ta with 'shift-j' in the in-built inscript layout. And in Fedora, I get 'khanda-ta' in 'z' in baisakhi-inscript layout (other keys are same, apart from '/' and '?' in fedora, য & য় are just reversed!)

Again, thank you for being so nice.

Thanks a ton Tom. Have mailed you. My apologies again for this late reply. I was out of internet access since sunday. Just got back to my desk. And you have made my day. Just tried your layout randomly and looks like, it is working perfectly.

Just a naive question, can't you make it official as the 'Bengali non QWERTY' keyboard?

Thanks again

Dear Tom,

First my apologies. After I mailed you I had to leave for field work and was out of internet access. Just got back to my desk. And this apple machine I am using is not my personal one. So couldn’t get back to you earlier.

Next, thanks a ton. it is working. So far, I have randomly tried the keys, and it is working perfectly.

Here is what I have done. I couldn’t decide among the two options, so copied your lay out to both the library folders,

Library/Keyboard Layouts and System/Library/Keyboard Layouts and then had activated it from Keyboard/Input Sources/Others and bingo!

looks fine. Thanks a ton.

As I said I do use fedora mainly, and new to apple, may I get your permission to make this solution, with a courtsey line, Tom Gewecke [tom [at] bluesy [dot] org], available for others who may need it? And as I don’t know the way things work around apple, is there any chance to make it official?

Thanks again.
