Bring back Aqua Design Thread!

Im sure I'm not the only one who doesn't like the new iTunes 7 Design, being because it looks more windows based.

Post in this thread to make apple realize they messed up on the design of the new iTunes...

ps: i like the new icon, but everything else with the design, like the gray blandness and the ugly scrollbars.

Apple, bring back the beauty...

Hate to say this but the interface *****. I like the brighter colors. When I go on my computer, I don't want it to look minimalist utilitarian I want it to be bright and joyful colors. THIS INTERFACE IS NOT GOING TO FLY. A MESSAGE FOR APPLE=GET YOUR DEVELOPERS BACK ON THOSE CONSOLES AND FIX THE INTERFACE THE WAY IT WAS!!!!

i agree on the icon. heres what would have gone over better.

same interface, new features

Just to add my tuppence worth: I am very disappointed with the lack of Aqua, and have discovered a few bugs (multiple album art drop doesn't appear to work is the main one). The feature set is good though, so I hope Apple fix the interface.

Luckily I backed up my entire disk, so I can easily restore to v6, and I'll be doing so until they have at least fixed the bugs.

I agree. Apple has been violating their own human interface guidelines for some time- and iTunes 7.0 this just makes it worse.

Pretty soon my desktop will look just like dashboard- every app, like widgets, will have their own "skin." (I don't disapprove of "skinning" for widgets, but I certainly do for applications.)

Lets see... we have plastic, metal, aqua, iTunes 7.0, whatever they use in the pro apps, and of course Apple's Java doesn't fully support Aqua (a third party had to produce a L&F that adds much of the support that is missing.)

Keep this up, Apple, and I'll be using Gnome on Fedora Core.
