I am worried that after checking into my bank account that a few hours later I was nearly scammed by someone pretending to be my bank and saying that they needed to open a new account for me as the bank was closing all checking accounts and transferring all monies into a new ISIS account, I checked my account whilst this scammer was on the phone and the transfer was taken from my saving account, into my Checking account, I could not see any new ISIS in my account, I was told that once I agreed to create a new account the money would be transferred and then I would see my new ISIS account!!
First of all the amount that was being transferred was a large amount and I knew that ISIS only asked for a smaller amount to open an account, therefore I called my local branch told them the story, they informed the fraud team, and yes you guessed it had I agreed to the scammer I would have been held responsible and lost all my money, a
because I created the new account, be careful as these scammers can be very convincing.
