cannot swipe

I cannot swipe - there are now boxes appearing around anything I tap which I have to tap once to select then double-tap to access - also, a vocal instruction has appeared - I can't even access settings to return to the basic setting - I cant wipe down to see all aspects - what have I done?

You have tweaked your settings, and a problem has occurred.

To solves the issue, you will have to go to settings.

'Settings > General > Accessibility' then scroll down to "AssistiveTouch" and turn that OFF.
