How to downgrade Logic versions?

to go from 7.2.1 back too 7.2, do you have to erase all files pertaining to Logic and reinstall from scratch? What about other plug-ins in the Audio folder? Is there an easier and quicker way to do this?

G5, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

firstly, what is the reason for the downgrade?

check you're using osx.4.7. have all updates for that installed, including pro app support.

anything that uses features exclusive to 7.2.1., will obviously not be present in the earliers versions, so you could get small "bugginess".

go to receipts in the main library and rip out the ones for logic.

go to user/pref/logic and rip out what you don't think you'll need.

save to cd/dvd all your user/unique settings. (generally in the app sup and audio folder in users and main.

rip out logic and wb apps, etc.

you may leave all the exs24 samples, etc.

it's a dirrty job, but somebody's got to do it.

I don't want to downgrade but (as I posted today as well) am having major EXS issues and was told by someone else that they were having the same - sounds dropping out, etc...I've played the sequences on another computer with 7.2.1 and it drops there too, but if I load the same EXS instruments as giga instruments and play back the sequence, the parts work fine...if you don't mind checking my other post about this from today and giving your advice, it would be much appreciated!
