Q: How can I find out what devises are tied to my account?

For some reason I have my account tied up in my wife's phone and with my previous work phone.

    What do you mean by being tied to your wife's phone ? For things like contacts, calendars, safari bookmarks then what account do you have in Settings > iCloud on your phone ?

     

    If you mean being associated to an account for the stores (i.e. by using iTunes Match, automatic downloads, redownloading past purchases on a device or computer) then that will show on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
