Macbook (2006) days Internet is working but doesn't load

Hi everyone,

I have an old macbook from 2006 and I am having internet issues. All my devices work properly as does my wife's laptop. This macbook, however, says that it is connected and is working, but it won't load pages then will time out. I've reassigned locations and ip addresses but nothing is changing. Any thoughts?
