Streaming videos leading to pop up/slow browser

I was trying to stream the Kings game from a "safe" site (vipbox.tv) and a small pop up came up in my left corner. I closed it before reading it and stopped using the site but after I tried for awhile. Today, another thing popped up but hasn't since. Browser is a little slow I think. It's not finding the server for my college website (Could be on their side though.) Could I have a virus? I cleared history. Should I clear cache?

Thanks!!

Michelle

That is a very bad site that will redirect you to all manner of known adware and malware distributing sites. Just a few minutes of browsing the site gave me the heebie-jeebies! You should definitely avoid any kind of illegal video streaming site like this, and should obtain these kinds of videos legally.

If you have downloaded and opened any apps from that site, you are probably infected with adware. If you are, my Adware Removal Guide will help you to get rid of it.
