I was trying to stream the Kings game from a "safe" site (vipbox.tv) and a small pop up came up in my left corner. I closed it before reading it and stopped using the site but after I tried for awhile. Today, another thing popped up but hasn't since. Browser is a little slow I think. It's not finding the server for my college website (Could be on their side though.) Could I have a virus? I cleared history. Should I clear cache?

I wouldn't call it 'safe' considering the junk/adware peddled from there, but if you didn't install any software or browser add-ons/extensions... then no.

It can't hurt, or use Safari - Preferences - Privacy - Remove all website data.
That is a very bad site that will redirect you to all manner of known adware and malware distributing sites. Just a few minutes of browsing the site gave me the heebie-jeebies! You should definitely avoid any kind of illegal video streaming site like this, and should obtain these kinds of videos legally.
