Mac Mini 3 Display Setup

Hi - I have 2 monitors (1920 x 1080) currently connected to my mid 2011 Mac Mini.

One on the HDMI port, one on the Mini Display port.

If I buy an Apple TV box, can I run a 3rd display monitor via this?

I've seen that the mini will run 2 x Thunderbolt displays, so I'm guessing 3 x 1920 x 1080 wouldn't be a problem in terms of graphics capabilities.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried it / or knows if it's technically possible?
