iPhoto - won't upgrade after Maverick upgrade

Hi All

Recently upgraded to Maverick - all updates have worked except iPhoto - when attempting update I get numerous error messages:

'These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications.'

Followed by:

'This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.'

Followed by:

'There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (null)'

Any ideas?

Cheers

Paul

Paul,

did you use a different Apple ID, when you set up your Mac? Or did someone else set up iPhoto for you, using a different Apple ID?

To be able to update iPhoto, sign out of the App Store (from the Store menu) and sign in again using the Apple ID that has been used, when you set up your Mac or installed iPhoto originally.

If you do not remember the password of your older Apple ID, you can reset it at
