Is it possible to display the New Zealand holidays in the Calendar application?
I've previously had the Australian holidays working in the Calendar app, but I don't seem to be able to get the New Zealand holidays displayed.
I've changed my region settings to New Zealand, so the Australian holidays have been removed, but no NZ holidays.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

I recommend that you subscribe to the New Zealand public holiday dates iCalendar.
Use the link labled
National public holiday dates, including all regional anniversaries
Make sure that you import the calendar as a new calendar.

Are you saying that the automatic holiday calendar isn't available for New Zealand and I have to return to the old method of manual imports?

I can't say that with any certainty, but since you changed your region settings without the addition of Kiwi Holidays, it sure seems that is the case.
IMHO, the "manual" import is just as effective. Perhaps a few more steps than checking a box, but the end result is identical. 😉
I agree the manual option is no harder, but I'm surprised that the holiday click box is even displayed if it doesn't work for New Zealand.
I just wasn't sure if it should be working, or if there is something broken because I changed regions, without a clean install.
I've had random results on both Mavericks and iOS 7. After setting my region to NZ my Mac is now displaying Mexican holidays and my iPad Canadian holidays!
I've just discovered this as well!! Don't think I need to know when the Mexican national holidays are when I'm in a totally different hemisphere.😕 If you know of a fix, I'd love to know what you did!
