Q: Scanning Problem with Mavericks, CS3, and Dell 2155cn

New MB Pro running Mavericks. Adobe CS3 loaded. Acrobat Pro will print to network Dell 2155CN, but will not scan. Same installation on older MBP running Lion scans from Acrobat with no problem. Does Mavericks have a problem with the Dell driver?S

Might be the driver. I don't see a Mavericks compatible driver > http://ftp.dell.com/Pages/Drivers/dell-2155cn-cdn.html

It just says Mac OS X. That's rather vague.

Try this workaround.

Image Capture can scan for you. It's in your Applications folder.

I'll give the work around a try. Could not get any help from Dell regarding the driver compatibility with Mavericks.
