Problems with imail alias "Includes servername"

Dear experts,

I have created a user with the mail adres user@company.nl on a mac mail server 10.7.5

After configuration on the client the client translates this e-mail adres automatically to user@SERVERNAME.company.nl

Why is he adding the servername in the domain alias space?

When the user sends an e-mail this alias is also visible at the customer.

not accepable if you ask me.

I have no idea where to start looking. because my server manager is constanly crashing with error.

"the service has encountered an error" try to refresh the view (server.local/DNS) (kReceivedUnknownError)

please advise for both issues?
