Basically .... Yes, is the answer to your question.
When you submitted the book first time, iTunesProducer created an .itmsp file, most likely booktitle.itmsp.
Locate it and click to open this file and go through the same process as as the first time.
In the description page, you should have a new column which asks what changes are made. Describe briefly what is repaired or simply add "Minor edits and amendments".
If asked version, 1.1.
Some things have changed a little - if you come up with problems... please come back and let us know.

Jun 17, 2014 5:27 PM in response to vinnyvgby Xorlac,Before I read your response, I went back through the same file with itunes producer and resubmitted the corrections...unfortantely, when asked about what changes are made...I left it blank...I wish I would have been more patient and waited for a response to my question.
At any rate, this is certainly a learning experience and the next book I submit...I will be more prepared.
I sent the corrections last night...but the tickets are still showing.
How long should I expect for the review process to take place?
Thanks

Your book goes back to the revue process, so it all depends how busy they are... so allow 1 day to maybe 14 days.
Now you know the routine, you can make minor changes and upload your book again.
BUT, once your book is in the store... the old version stays visible in the store and will eventually be replaced with the update, meanwhile if anybody purchased the "not updated" version.... they are notified of the update - just as apps are notified and updated.
Good look with your book and all the others which will eventually be in the store.
