I bought a macair book. I have no experience of using Mac. can anyone till me how to uninstall programs?

Finder> GO > Applications

drag it/ them to the trash

By the way, be cautious about uninstalling any programs that Apple shipped with the computer, especially if you are new to the Mac.

For stuff you installed yourself, PlotinusVeritas' method works fine for many programs, but anything that came with an installer probably needs a more complicated uninstallation process. So do some programs that start off installation by drag-and-drop.
