Q: How can I unsubscribe a credit/debit card from my account

My iPod won't unsubscribe from using a credit card. Is the only way to get that option to buy a gift card?

iPod touch, iOS 7.1.1, It doesn't give me the none option

By 'unsubscribe' do you mean remove the card from your account ? If you do and aren't getting the 'none' option on the payment details screen on your account then do you owe iTunes anything or have any pre-orders/subscriptions due : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5366 ?
