on my olf iphone 4 the screen is broken, making it not able to use, i need my pictures off of it, i tried using icloud but i did not put my pictures on icloud, and i have a passcode on m old phone, so i cannot back up my iphone to itunes, how can i get my pictures off of my phone
Try Image Capture in your Applications folder.

It might be too late for you to get your pictures because your screen is broken.
YOu say you try to get it out of icloud, where you automatically backing up to icloud?
Did you ever import your pics to your computer as you would a digital camera?
i put my contacts and such to my icloud, but not my pictures... so everything else transfored over but my photos.
If your iPhone regularly backed itself up to icloud, you should get them back when you restore to a new phone.
you mean you sync your contats/calendar/notes to icloud, not actually backing it up to icloud- correct?

yes it was over icloud, because i cannot back up my phone to itunes because i have a passcode lock on my broken phone so i am unable to put the code in
I asking you two different things here:
1 - Did you sync with icloud
2 - Did you backup to icloud.
I think since you only got your contacts and calendar back, that you only sync with icloud -
If you had backup your phone to icloud - all your data would've came back to your new phone.

YOu tried to backup before or after your broken screen?
The end results is going to be that you won't be able to get those pictures because your screen is broken, no work or magic is going to help you get those pictures back - if you didn't backup to icloud or itunes PRIOR to your screen being broken.
Also if you didn't import them either.
