Starting a new apple id

My old apple id was from an old email account that isnt even active. When I bought my new Mac Book I automatically did my correct email. Now my iTunes, etc. doesn't sync. Any way to fix this? Thanks.

If you purchased things using your old Apple ID, they will not work with the new one. Sign out of the new Apple ID. Then, sign in to your old Apple ID and change the email on the account page.
