I am trying to set up my ipad mini. I have an ipad. I think I have an up to date IOS on my ipad. When I get to the 'back up' options on the ipad mini, it gets frozen. What should I do?

Could I know if you are backing up your iPad mini through iCloud or iTunes.

On the iPad Mini... Try This...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... (But can take Longer..)
Release the Buttons..

I was able to do something like you suggested but anyway it sort of solved itself I guess. Now I need to know how to access my old stuff that was on my old ipad. I set up the ipad as a new ipad so can I download the TV shows etc onto my new one?
