Guys whats the correct way of charging lithium-polymer late 2013 macbook pro battery?

Guys what's the best and correct way to charge a lithium-polymer battery on a late 2013, 15" Macbook Pro?, Thank you. (Please don't refer me back to Apple's support website, the information there is not enough)

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

Keep the computer plugged in whenever possible.

If you keep the computer always plugged in, make sure that twice a month

run it on battery until battery level drops to about 50-40%.
