How to rid of imesh?

I hope this was an okay place to post this. Anyhoww.

So I've heard lots to stories about the dreaded imesh. I think it may have been in a file I had downloaded and once removing it from safari and the suspected files on my computer, deleting them, I still have the highlighted green words and little pop up ads. Any help with this? It's rather annoying.
