Q: How long do apple EarPods last?

today I just bought the apple EarPods for my iPod touch 5th generation. normally my 10-15 headphones last only about a month or two and I spent 32 dollars on these headphones so I want to know how long they last. rarely turn up my volume past half way so I keep it at a normal range. Please tell me an estimate on how long the headphones last for. Thank you.

They last forever no matter what you throw at them. I still have my first pair that I bought when they first came out. They have been submerged a few times and been through extreme heat and cold and they still work fine. I typically use mine at a really high volume also.
