After putting my phone into DFU mode and pressing reset on itunes will it ask for my apple ID

hi everyone,

I recently forgot the password on my iphone 4. ive read the only way to get back in is to reset the iphone. it goes through the process of plugging the iphone into itunes and getting the phone into DFU mode but i have a question that i couldn't find the answer too. My phone has 'find my iphone' enabled and i know you have to enter your apple ID whenever you change anything to do with icloud or find my iphone but i have forgotten my apple ID aswell. I was wandering, after i have plugged the phone in put it in DFU mode and go to press reset on itunes will it ask for my apple ID because 'find my iphone' is enabled.

If it is in DFU mode, it should not ask for a password in order to be restored. If, however, it is running iOS 7 with Find My iPhone turned on, it will ask for an Apple ID when you try to reactivate it after it has been wiped.

You can go to appleid.apple.com and hit "forgot password" to change it, provided that you have access to your email.

You can follow these steps :

Press and hold the power button that is present on the top edge of the iPhone and along with that press home buttonfor at least 15 seconds

Wait till the iphone device turns off and then release the power and home button. It could take around fifteen seconds to power off.
Turn iPhone On by pressing iphone button. And hwen the iphone reboots, it will not be in recovery mode.
