Way to 'Jump' to a Last Post or Last Viewed from a /Content page?

In other BBs I have used, this view would contain at least a link to the Last Post in a particular thread.

This page requires me to navigate to the post, then click 'Last Reply" link.

One too many clicks and page loads.

My deepest wish would be for a Last Reply Viewed capability -- on the above list view of course.

I have employed a workaround for my issue (I will post this link to the "positive" thread)

I am employing "eMail Notifications". Here's how:

Follow a thread
When the email comes, it has a sentence (with a link) at or near the end that says "To post a reply, go to the discussion in Apple Support Communiies"
The reply is quoted in the email, so I dont have to go to the reply to merely read it
If I wish to reply, I Click the link and it opens a new tab with the thread "jumped" to the reply which the email is reporting
After I reply, I go back to my Mail client and delete the email
