recovering lost photos and videos from ipod touch 5

Ok so yesterday (6/21/14) I went to a concert and took some pictures and videos. Before I went to the concert, I restored my iPod so I'd have enough space for photos and videos. Then when I got home, I was going to restore the back up I had with all the music and apps (etc.) I had on there. But stupid me, while the pictures and videos were importing, I clicked the restore back up button by accident and it stopped importing, and then I realized what was happening and I unplugged my iPod and only about 19 out of the 100+ photos/videos imported. Is there any way to get them back (without a back up or iCloud?) PLEASE HELP!!

If you do not have a backup of the device after those photos were taken, and you were not using iCloud's My Photo Stream, there is no way to recover your photos as you effectively deleted them. If you are unsure whether you have the My Photo Stream on or not, go to Settings > iCloud > Photos and turn on My Photo Stream, then go to the Photos App, select Albums at the bottom, then Select My Photo Stream and see if you have any photos. It may take a few moments to load in any photos on the Cloud.

Good Luck.
