I have the Ipod 4th generation, but it doesn't have iOS 7 because it cannot download it. I don't know if that is part of my problem. My problem is I want to download a calendar offline and onto my Ipod but I don't know how? HELP!
You can't really download them. You can create them locally or sync them with iCloud or other Mail Services that also support Calendars.
Where is your current calendar? Go to Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendar and make a new account.
Go to your mac calendar app. On the left there would be a list of your calendars in the app. Select the one you want to put on your iPod. Go to [ File > Export > Export ] on the top menu bar. Save the export to your desktop. Email it to your self as an attachment. On your iPod go to mail, go to your inbox and look for the email you just sent to yourself. Select the attachment in the email and follow the instructions. NO SYNC REQUIRED. The calendar will not update on your iPod if you make changes to it on your mac. That is the catch when you do it manually.
