Can't contact the store with iTunes 7

I can't connect to the store! Everytime I try it sits around for aobut five minutes and tells me to make sure my network connection is active and to try again. I'm on a university campus using a wireless connection. Anybody have clue as to what might be wrong? Or is this just another bug?
