Phone fell in toilet!!

remove the battery - leave all of it apart - all in the rice

DO NOT take it apart as suggested by ChitlinsCC. Keep it in rice for a few days but you will probably need to get a new phone As suggested by Kappy.

VERY BAD ADVICE! Once you open it to remove the battery Apple won't touch it again, in or out of warranty.

Put the whole phone (WITHOUT OPENING IT) in a plastic bag full of uncooked rice, or better yet, put a bag of Silica Gel in with it if you have some already and leave it there for a week without trying to turn it on.
