USB 3 driver on Win 7

Hi,

I've a iMac (Dic 2013, Intel i7-4771), through boot camp assistant I've installed Win 7. Everything works right, except USB 3.0. I've two external drive, one USB 2.0 and the other USB 3.0.

USB 2.0 drive works, but USB 3.0 don't. The USB 3.0 works properly pluged to another pc ("pure" Windows), so USB 3.0 drive isn't damage...

I find some discussions, but nothing has solved my problem... I've tried to install the Intel driver manually: there are two family driver

and

...the installation wizard starts only with the second family (8), the first family (7) results not compatible...

Apple say USB 3.0 works also under Windows (Using USB 3 devices on Mac computers FAQ)

When I connect the USB 3.0 drive, Windows do the classical "pluged sound", and I can see the drive in the notification area (usually bottom right), but I can't see the drive on "Computer > Hard Disk Drives"...

Anyone could help me?

Thanks, the link is different...so I will try it...but the problem now is more strong...Trying to unistall USB 3 wrong driver, I don't know what's happened but no USB are working...

On Mac OS everything works, but keyboard and mouse don't works anymore on Windows enviroment. Keyboard and mouse works until I'm in "dos" mode, when Windows is loading, after Win Boot Logo they stop.

I thought could be a Apple Keyboard Driver problem but my mouse isn't an Apple mouse and It could works...

There is a way to install some drive automatically when windows start? Maybe editing some file in Windows disk partition through Mac OS?

Hi,

I got an related problem after I re-installed BotCamp on a MacBook Pro (Mavericks) after the BootCamp selection on booting up (ALT) stopped working.

It was working under Parallels Desktop.

As part of the re-install of BotCamp and the Parallels Desktop machines, I installed the Windows USB 3 driver from Renesas Electronics that was suggested by my Parallels Desktop software.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=19880

But after I installed this I was not able to boot up into Windows installed on the BootCamp partition either via Parallels, nor by ALT on boot-up.

Gave various errors, said I needed to enter repair mode.

Before this I had no problems at all, either in Parallels or booting into it on startup by ALT.

Windows tried to solve it but failed (Fixit etc etc).

However when I uninstalled this driver, everything went fine.

I'm not sure what I do next, but maybe this was an issue for you too.

I will post my question on a separate thread.
