When I purchase TV Shows off of iTunes, it downloads to computer. When I play the TV Show it shows a grey screen. I tried transferring it to my video iPod and it played fine on there. Why won't it play on my Powerbook?

I have the same problem. I have authorized and deauthorized a million times and still says iI have to authorize the computer. If I go to My Account, it shows that the computer is authorized. I deleted iTunes and QuickTime and install then again, twice, and still have the same problem. Never have this problem before version 7.0. I have puchased a LOT of music and now I can not play it 😟

the gray screen means you need to (re)authorize your
computer. You can do that in the new Store menu.

That is exactly the problem. It is not working. My computer is autorized to play mucis and still says I need to do it. Also if I try to buy a song I get a error message: "There was a problem downloading (song name) An unknown error ocurred (-1407). Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again" It is active. I'm posting this! Any suggestions or ideas?

screen, Or i get the "this computer is not authorized
to play-insert movie name here-". I have authorized
my computer many times and it still will not
play.

This solved the same problems. Thans to Kay Marczoch:"Run Disk Utility and try to fix permissions on your harddisk; also verify if the folder ./Users/Shared exists."
