Cannot add printer all add functions greyed out

Hi,

I'm trying to install an HPOfficejet 6100 on OX 10.9.3 . When I select Printer & Scanners, + and then all screens and options are greyed out, standard, fax, IP & windows. I cannot hit search or anything. I've checked and all settings are correct I am the admin on my macbook air.

I've also already tried the resetting of the printing system which was successful. All printer settings gone but still doesn't change anything to my problem

Also when I try and search for the printer via the CUPS http://localhost:631/admin it doesn't find it.

My network is via an airport express, when I select find other wi-fi devices it doesn't show anything.

I'm able to add the printer via USB but as soon as I unplug it cannot find it anymore and do need to be able to print wireless.

Upon printing the HP network configuration page, the following is shown:

Anybody any suggestions?
