Cannot log into icloud using Internet Explorer

"icloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server." This message occurs when I try to log in on my PC using Windows 7 Ultimate to iCloud with Internet Explorer 11.0.9.

I can log in to iCloud just fine through Chrome or Firefox or even Safari on this desktop PC.

Any ideas?
