I really do not want to with to Lightroom as I am very happy working in Aperture BUT it is not supporting my RAW files from my new camera. Just wondered if there was any tricks or if there is a update for RAW files coming very soon.

Ah come on, I have the same problem, just took a massive amount of photos in raw over July 4th with my new A77ii, all "unsupported image format". What the heck apple! Please update, I can not see any of my photos!
It is crazy that no update has come yet. My only worry is that I am waiting for an update that is not coming! With the new Photo app on the cards and apple not continuing aperture I hope they are not stopping their RAW updates as there has not been an update for a good 6 weeks now!
I just spoke with Apple Tech support, they could not confirm, however they do many updates and the Raw support should come with a system update. It would not need to be with an update to Aperture.
I talked to apple pro support too and to say getting a firm answer out if them on if/when RAW updates were being made available had a less that open answer! almost like i was asking for tech info on the new iPhone6!
New software update but no RAW support still!
Looks like Lightroom has updated, Apple better fix this soon, I may have to jump ship with EOL for aperture.
Time to switch RIP Aperture 😟
