apple 24" cinema display shuts down without warning

My 24" Cinema Display is plugged into the wall receptacle with the other cords connected to my 17" MacBook Pro. All works well for a period of time 60 minutes or more. Then, without warning the display goes black. The tiny light on the power connector is no longer illuminated. I replaced the power supply 8 months ago.


Any ideas?
