Most likely you've installed adware. Download and run this adware removal tool.
Also, uninstall Norton, it's one of the worst AV programs for Mac and can cause harm to your system according to users with experience using it.
thank you. I found an unintended extension with a ambiguous name installed in my browser. I unistalled it and the problem dissapeared.
Thank you, but I can not take your advice without proof. Norton didn't do any harm to my computer so far.

It didn't catch the adware... how much is it really protecting you? Not so much, it turns out. It only scored a solid B at detecting Mac malware when I tested it back in January. (It only detected 84% of my malware samples.)
In addition, every time I have ever tested Norton, it has caused significant performance problems with my test system, far worse than what any of the other anti-virus apps have caused. In one case, I actually had to reinstall the test system, because Norton damaged it somehow.
No Symantec product should have a place on your Mac.

I must concur with Thomas how much protection is giving you if it does not catch this.
I know for a fact after having uninstalled it from numerous Mac over the years that it is the primary culprit for problems on Mac that have it installed. Simply uninstalling Norton cause all the problems to go away.
What I will suggest is uninstall it and see if your Mac runs better. If it doesn't then you can always install it again if you wish.
Personally after the damage it did to the first Mac I had that was running OS X10.2, I will never allow it into my house again.

Fair enough. ¿what would be your recommendation for both free and non free mac antivirus?
None. They are not needed.
Uninstall Norton / Symantec. As you determined, it can do nothing to prevent you from installing adware and will only prevent your Mac from working as designed.
One or more of the following Symantec / Norton support documents may be applicable:
Uninstall Norton Internet Security for Mac
Removing Symantec programs for Macintosh by using the RemoveSymantecMacFiles removal utility
¿what would be your recommendation for both free and non free mac antivirus?
What is it you intend to accomplish?
