Sound now working on games for iPhone 5?

I have an iPhone 5 and I have recently noticed that my sound is not working for some of the games on it. The first game is called Subway Surfers and there is no sound or music on it whatsoever when there is usually sound effects and music playing. Secondly is a game called Tiny Wings, which has sound effects but no music (there is usually music playing). Lastly, is a game called Jetpack Joyride, again there is sound effects but no music. I had this problem with other games but I deleted them off my phone.

I have made sure that the sound/music setting is ON for all of these games, my phone is off silent and my volume is up, and the problem is still there.

Dose anyone know what could be wrong and how I could fix it?

The usual cure for odd behavior is to reset the iPhone: hold the Sleep / Wake button (at the top) until the "slide to power off" prompt appears, then do that. Power it up again by holding the Sleep / Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Jetpack Joyride's music is toggled on or off with this button:

If it's highlighted (orange stripe below it) it ought to work. Look for similar settings in other apps.

It's also possible another audio app, perhaps a misbehaving one, is diverting audio away from the games. To eliminate that possibility double-click the Home button, and scroll sideways through the suspended apps - swipe them up and out of the way terminate any potentially conflicting activity.
