Can I safely download 'Skype' to my MAC OS from the internet?
Is it safe to download 'Skype' to my Mac OS from the internet as I was advised to use Apple Apps and there is only 'Facetime' which can only be used Apple to Apple.

It is safe, though for the operating system in question, it may not work with all Skype users. You posted to the Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier forum.
Very few people still use the video standards back from those operating system days. So don't be surprised if your video doesn't work. Just make sure that if you are using Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier, the version of Skype you get is for your operating system. Just saying it is Mac OS X compatible is not enough.
You can download Skype safely but the webpage may not display properly

Instructions:
1. Go to oldapps.com
2. Click the Macintosh tab
3. Scroll down and select your mac version
4. Look at the messengers section and click on Skype for mac
5. You are all done!
