forgotten restrictions passcode with find my ipad active

Hi all, I've got myself in a bit of pickle. I recently set up find my ipad and followed instructions to set the restrictions passcode. I have subsequently totally forgotten the passcode. I've followed various suggestions on here to do a factory reset but each time I end up going round in circles because as soon as I hit Restore it tells me to disable Find My iPad which of course I can't without the passcode. Help!!!!
