Can a Japanese developer fix this Japanese for upcoming Yosemite?

Hello, I am a Japanese user of Apple Macintosh. I use a MBP e'11 13in OS X 10.9.3.

This is the problem I see under /Users/User_name:

User uploaded file

The folder names I am going to bring up are "public (パブリック)", "Photos (ピクチャ)", "Music (ミュージック)", and "Movie (ムービー)".

Can these be changed to the following, respectively: 公共, 写真, 音楽, and 動画?

I do not understand why something that can be easily represented by Japanese have to be represented by Yokomoji.

I did not know there was a beta forum, and I am also not using a beta of Yosemite of any sort. I am asking this to any developers out there who know the Japanese language so that it would be in Yosemite.

I have used the OS X Feedback page and send them pretty much what I had typed above.

I suspect that Kurt Lang simply missed that you're presently on a released version of OS X, and submitting a suggestion or enhancement for OS X.

(What was posted there was correct, but — because you're on a released version — not really applicable to your case.)

The feedback page or a call to Apple Support will get your suggestion to the Apple folks.

Apologies then. I presumed you were showing a Yosemite screen shot since that's what you were asking about and were noting an error in the upcoming OS.

If you like, you can sign up for the Yosemite public beta. The first one million users will get access to the beta whenever Apple releases it to the public. At that point, you could bring up the issue in the Yosemite beta forums.
