how to activate Microsoft Office 2011 on a new computer?

bought a new macbook, transferred all form elder one to new one, the product key is not recognised on the nez macbook.

should I deactivate Office on the old one before to activate it on the new one?

You should ask your question on the Microsoft help forums. This is not an Apple product, and we do not know what Microsoft requires to transfer the software to a new computer:
