Adobe Shockwave Player

When I attempt to download Adobe Shockwave player on my macbook pro, I get a gray screen and it will not download. Any thoughts?

which model MacBook Pro do you have, and which version of OS X is installed on it?

I just tried to update Adobe Flash Player and I am experiencing the same issue. I wonder if i have changed a setting that is making it impossible to download adobe software?

romeo4delta,

you can download the offline installers for Shockwave Player and Flash Player from here and here respectively. If these download successfully, then quit from all of your browsers and run each installer in turn.

Finally figured it out. It would not download using Safari. Swapped to Firefox and it downloaded perfectly. Not sure why this would make a difference?
